Dale Mahaffey Head of Engineering
Dale Mahaffey joined Mannon Oil as Petroleum Engineer in October 2006. He was Manager of Environmental Engineering at Bear Creek Environmental Systems, an oil field service company based in North Louisiana. As part of the management team, he helped to initiate the consulting division, with a focus on helping independent oil and gas producers minimize their environmental and regulatory exposure, comply with new regulations, respond cost-effectively to spills, and maximize their property value prior to asset sales. He was also responsible for developing new business alliances, markets and clientele.
From 2002 to 2005 and 1994 to 1998, Mr. Mahaffey was an independent consultant, providing engineering consulting services to oil and gas producers in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Arkansas. His services included acquisition and divestiture evaluations, year end reserve audits, detailed field studies focused on identifying bypassed production in old fields and the implementation of new analytical software technologies. In addition, he helped oil producers, transporters and refiners develop environmental programs to comply with new oil and gas regulatory requirements.
From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Mahaffey worked with Schlumberger-Holditch Reservoir Technologies as a Senior. Petroleum Engineer. During this time, he conducted or managed integrated field studies combining engineering, geological, geophysical, and petrophysical data and proprietary work products to identify undeveloped or bypassed oil and gas reserves in geologically complex fields. He conducted property evaluations for acquisitions, divestitures, litigation support and estate tax settlements and conducted screening studies of select oil and gas properties for potential Schlumberger/Client joint venture/alliance opportunities. In addition, he marketed specific geologic and geophysical regional technical studies and helped to implement proprietary reconnaissance and trouble-shooting techniques to identify and quantify new drilling and production optimization opportunities in mature fields.
From 1977 to 1982, Mr. Mahaffey held a number of positions with Mobil Oil in South Louisiana, including Operations/Completions Engineer, Offshore Production Foreman, Reservoir Engineer and Environmental Engineer. In addition to the typical technical responsibilities associated with these positions, his experience included work on soft sediment core analysis procedures, corporate technical database development, offshore drilling/platform location optimization software, special reservoir studies, and offshore field development planning.
Mr. Mahaffey received his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 1977, B.S. in Mathematics Education and B.A. in Liberal Arts from Northeast Louisiana University in 1976 and 1977, respectively.
Forb L. Phillips Vice President of Corporate Development
Forb Phillips joined Mannon L. Walters, Inc as Vice President of Corporate Development in June 2009. Mr. Phillips interacts with land, legal, geologists, geophysicists, engineers, abstract companies, unitization specialists, Broker/Dealers and registered representatives in the financial industry. Mr. Phillips attends conventions and events on behalf of the company, including NAPE, REISA, NIBA and AAPL. He also performs Due Diligence on Oil and Gas prospects, projects and pursues industry partners on behalf of the company.
From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Phillips consulted with various clients re: Joint Venture Agreements and projects. They included assembling dozens of drilling rigs and service (work over) rigs along with acquisition opportunities for clients. He trained compliance and marketing personnel for clients. From 1989 to 2003, Mr. Phillips worked as an Independent Petroleum Landman for various clients in numerous states. He examined titles, purchased Oil and Gas leases and settled damages on various prospects and projects in the Mid-continent region of the U.S. During this period, he started companies, such as Selcom, Inc., Tribal Signs, LLC. and Forbs Inc., A Native American Company. His companies represented Phillips Petroleum, Public Service Company of Oklahoma, Bama Pie and Dr. Barry Sears, inventor of The Zone products.
He has worked with a number of sovereign Nation tribes in Oklahoma and surrounding states. From 1976-1989, Mr. Phillips was a Division Landman for a spin-off of Apache Corporation, Houston, Texas; Landman for Getty Oil Company, Houston, Texas; District Landman for Southern Union Production Company (Supron) in Dallas, Texas; and a District Landman for O.I.L. Energy Inc. (a subsidiary of Kidde Corporation, a NYSE Company) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At Getty Oil, he was the second certified Petroleum Landman, in Off-shore/Alaska and worked one year in the Division/Contracts section. He was the first Getty Oil Rocky Mountain landman and worked in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. At Supron, he was responsible for hiring and supervising Oil and Gas lease brokers in Texas, New Mexico and the Rocky Mountains. Mr. Phillips was also an independent Petroleum Landman/broker and represented Gulf Oil, Hunt Oil and Texaco Oil.
Mr. Phillips graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1972 with a B.S. degree specializing in Petroleum Land Management. He earned a major in management with minors in law, marketing and accounting.
Jon E. LaFreniere Exploration Geophysicist
Jon E. LaFreniere, has rendered consulting services as an Exploration Geophysicist to Mannon L. Walters, Inc. since 1994. He has been providing domestic and international geophysical consultation to major, minor and independent oil companies for approximately 22 years. In 1991, he formed LaFreniere and Associates, Inc. His company has served as an on site project coordinator for the Costero-Luna Exploration Project in Mexico; created multimillion-dollar savings for numerous clients by critically reviewing exploration projects; assisted Mobil Oil in narrowing its focus in the Deep Water Gulf of Mexico and successfully found oil and gas resources for them and numerous other clients.
In 1990, Mr. LaFreniere consulted on hydrocarbon exploration to a community of geophysicists, provided technical case histories, provided high-level technical sales expertise and on site consultation. In 1988, while with LeFehr and Chan Technologies, he helped establish the first Sierra Technology Center and provided technical service to the engineering geophysics community. In 1983, while with Mobil Oil he served in various geophysicist positions involved in 3-D seismic modeling, velocity analysis and interpretation, geothermal modeling, seismic processing and interpretation verification.
Mr. Lafreniere earned his MS in Geophysics with a minor in Geology at the University of Texas, El Paso, Texas. He is currently a California Registered Geophysicist and belongs to the Society of Exploration Geophysicist, and the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists. He has been invited to publish papers and has lectured in various seminars.
Robert L. Pigott II Geological Engineer
Since 2001, Robert L. Pigott II has been the owner of EarthCad Consulting, Evansville, Indiana, which offers a wide array of services including geologic mapping, modeling and visualization, reserve studies, data research and presentation, exploration and development, and economic evaluation for oil, gas and gas storage properties. His latest emphasis has been on providing geological insight and assistance to operators regarding the exploration and development of unconventional gas resources, including coal bed and coal mine methane and New Albany Shale.
From 1981 to 2001, Mr. Pigott was manager of Robinson Engineering and Oil Co., Inc.
Prior to this he was affiliated with Century Geophysical Corporation (From 1979-1981) where his responsibilities included the production and interpretation of electrical and nuclear borehole logs using digital computer controlled geophysical equipment. Mr. Pigott served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Evansville during 1987 and 1988 where he taught Physical Geology and Historical Geology.
Mr. Pigott received his B.S. Degree in Geology in 1979 from the University of Arkansas.

James R. Brown Superintendent - Illinois Basin
James R. Brown has been associated with Mannon L. Walters, Inc., since 1998. In the 1990's he founded Trinity Construction as well as other companies in the construction, remodeling and property restoration business. He has held numerous positions in the automotive field. He was awarded the General Motors Automotive Technician of the Year in 1984. He was an ASE Certified Master Technician both foreign and domestic gas and diesel for twelve years. As parts manager for a Chrysler dealership, he received a five star award for Excellence of Operations.

Steve Sewell Field Superintendent - Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma
Steve Sewell has been associated with Mannon L. Walters, Inc. since 2006 as a Field Superintendent for Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Previously, from 1999 to 2006, he worked with a technology firm, where he coordinated the efforts of network and computer technicians and provided technical support to commercial clients. He also worked with an oil field environmental company, helping independent oil producers comply with state and federal environmental regulations.
From 1982 to 1999, Mr. Sewell joined Mobil Oil in the Gulf of Mexico as a production technician, acting as a liaison between the engineering and field operations groups to manage field projects, trouble-shoot production problems, train new personnel and implement new technological programs.
From 1975 to 1981, Mr. Sewell was associated with several oil field companies such as Halliburton, Petrolite (Tretolite), and Lone Star Gas Company, and was responsible for well work servicing, fracturing, acidizing, cementing and petrochemical applications.
Mr. Sewell graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1973, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.

Ivy Morris Corporate Secretary and Treasurer
Ivy Morris has served as Corporate Secretary and Treasurer of Mannon L. Walters, Inc., since 1997. Previously, she served as an accountant for Trucks "R" Us, Owensboro, Kentucky from 1995 to 1997; as a dispatcher for OTI, Henderson, Kentucky from 1994 to 1995; as a dispatcher/account receivable administrator for Yellow Freight Systems, Owensboro, Kentucky from 1986 to 1991; and as a dispatcher for McLean Trucking, Owensboro, Kentucky, from 1985 to 1986.
Mrs. Morris received her Business Administration-Data Processing degree in 1975 from Owensboro Business College, Owensboro, Kentucky and from 1992 to 1994, studied Robotics at Owensboro Vocational School, Owensboro, Kentucky.

Will Tevault Investor Relations
William Tevault has served as Liason for Investor Relations for Mannon Walters, Inc. since 2010. Previously he had worked for Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville, Indiana, as the Assistant Shift Supervisor, and Senior Process Technician for Metamora Products Corporation in Metamora, Michigan from 2001-2007; and at Dunkin Donuts Midwest Distribution Center in Mokena, Illinois, from 2000-2001.
Mr. Tevault graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 2010 and in Business Administration in 2009, both from the University of Southern Indiana. He is also a member of the academic fraternity Beta Gamma Sigma.

Mike Finazzo Accounting Director
Mike has served in the accounting department for Mannon Walters, Inc. since 2010. Mike has over 9 years of both public and private accounting experience. While working in public accounting he prepared numerous oil and gas tax returns. Mike was also responsible for their general ledger preparation and review.
Mike graduated with honors from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, in 2002.
